Carlos Sainz - 6th place, 8 points - 8.5/10
Such conditions offer Toro Rosso opportunities despite its lack of horsepower and Sainz took full advantage to fight at the front. Staying out on full wets proved the right call as Sainz jumped from 14th when racing got underway to eighth three laps later. With Raikkonen retiring, Vettel spinning and the Red Bulls pitting, a maiden podium will have entered his thoughts at one stage as his faultless drive saw him run fourth behind Perez. Verstappen and Vettel eventually got the better of him, but sixth was still an excellent result.
