Gallery: A bold look into the future of F1

.

Formula 1 is still in the process of defining the sport's 2021 regulations, but Turkish designer Olcay Tuncay Karabulut has offered a glimpse into what could be Grand Prix racing's future.

It's obviously a subjective take on the subject, but one which includes some interesting and bold ideas.

In keeping with the FIA and F1's safety requirements Olcay Tuncay Karabulut has gone in most of his renderings for a transparent canopy concept instead of the 'halo' approach that results in an undoubtedly more elegant silhouette.

Furthermore, the artist's aerodynamic projections underline relatively clean and simple wings, front and rear, that would considerably reduce turbulence and therefore help overtaking.

It's all a bit extreme as it is very futuristic, but still worth a browsing of the gallery.
