Williams have revealed the special Gulf Oil livery chosen by its fans that will adorn its cars at three races later this season.

Last May, Williams and sponsor Gulf Oil offered its worldwide supporters a chance to choose between four liveries inspired by Gulf's iconic powder-blue and orange colors with the winning design appearing on the Williams FW45s of Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant at the Singapore, Japanese and Qatar Grands Prix later this year.

Themed around the Gulf x Williams F1 partnership, each livery reflected a specific style: Bolder than Bold, Contemporary, Visionary and Heritage.

On Tuesday, the Grove-based outfit revealed that 'Bolder than Bold' had come out on top of a tally that totaled a massive 180,000 votes.

"This competition was an incredible opportunity for our fans to actively engage and shape the visual identity of our team," commented Williams team boss James Vowles;

"The winning design encapsulates the essence of the Gulf and Williams Racing partnership, reflecting on the past but building on our future.

"This livery will create a defining moment when it takes to the track later in the season."

"It has been a pleasure to collaborate with Williams Racing and place the fans at the core of this campaign, added Gulf International CEO Mike Jones.

"The response has been incredible, and would not have been possible without the fans, making this competition extra special."

"Gulf and Williams Racing share a vision of a bright modern future on and off the track and we look forward to sharing what else we have in store for 2023.

Before making its thrilling debut later this season, the winning livery will be showcased at this week's Goodwood Festival of Speed which kicks off on Thursday.
