
Williams Racing has ripped the wraps off a striking all-black one-off livery for this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix, turning the FW47 into the sharpest-dressed car on the Strip as the team celebrates title partner Atlassian and its slick new AI brainchild, Rovo.
While everyone else is flashing neon and chrome under Sin City’s famous lights, Williams has opted for a sophisticated, mysterious, and just a touch menacing aura in satin black with rainbow accents that will pop like a jackpot when the floodlights hit.
It’s the second special Atlassian livery Williams has produced this year. The first – wrapped in a nostalgic 2002 blue-and-white tribute – coincided with a landmark weekend in Austin where Carlos Sainz delivered to the British outfit its first-ever Sprint podium. That third-place finish helped solidify what has already become the team’s strongest season since 2016.
Now, in Las Vegas, Williams is shifting from retro to stealth mode, and according to team boss James Vowles, the design isn’t just for show – it’s a statement of intent.
"This striking livery is the latest celebration of our work with partners Atlassian, who are helping to accelerate our tech transformation and bring Williams right back to the cutting edge," he said.
"There could not be a more iconic place to unveil this than in Las Vegas, one of the most tech-forward cities in the world."
More Than a Paint Job
The Vegas livery is only part of a broader suite of tech-forward activations planned by Williams and its partners during the race week.
With Atlassian’s Rovo AI platform highlighted front and centre, the team is leaning into its growing reputation as one of the paddock’s most ambitious digital modernisers.

And while a stealthy black livery feels appropriately undercover for a team plotting its comeback, the rainbow detailing ensures the FW47 won’t be sneaking past anyone unnoticed.
Under the Vegas lights, Williams is betting big – glitz, tech flair, and a design ready to high-roll through Saturday night.
