The scientific world lost a beautiful mind this week with the passing of Professor Stephen Hawking.
His personality and genius, which like the universe knew no boundaries, inspired many to look beyond the confines of our small blue planet.
Stephen Hawking's thirst for knowledge was boundless, which is how he ended up at the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa in 1995, a more than welcome guest of the Williams team, as seen here in this picture from our friend Paul-Henri Cahier.
Over the years, the renowned physicist and cosmologist continued to take a keen interest in the British team's trials and tribulations.
Last October, Hawking paid Williams a visit, much to the pleasure of Sir Frank!
