In addition to racing in F1 and at the Indy 500 next year, McLaren will also be fighting on the challenging roads of the Tour de France in 2020.
UCI World Tour road racing outfit Team Bahrain McLaren unveiled on Monday in Woking its line-up and vision for next season.
The cycling squad is a joint venture between McLaren and the Bahrain World Tour Cycling Team, and has already demonstrated its level of performance by achieving an impressive number of race wins in the past few years.
Overseen by highly respected team prinicpal Rod Ellingworth, Team Bahrain McLaren has signed up Grand Tour stars Mikel Landa and Wout Poels, as well as Mark Cavendish, the most successful Grand Tour sprinter of all time.
In addition to a distinguished collection of technical partners, Team Bahrain McLaren has also convinced F1 sponsors Richard Mille and CNBC to join the cycling fun.
