The 14-year-old daughter of the Japanese driver who raced for Larousse in 1994 has been hyped as a racing prodigy since the age of 9, reportedly breaking the Okayama F4 lap record in a test session when she was 10!
While reports of her exploits have been widely circulated in Japan, Juju has just made her mark in Europe, winning this weekend a round of the Danish Formula 4 Championship, the first single-seater race to take place in Europe since lockdown measures were eased.
Granted, Denmark's F4 series isn't as competitive as its German and Italian counterparts, but the 14-year-old's achievement is certainly worthy of a mention. Done.
