At 41, Fernando Alonso is Formula 1's senior citizen, but at Aston Martin, Grand Prix racing's veteran is also the new kid on the block.
The two-time F1 world champion displayed his new emerald-green colors at Monday's launch at Silverstone. But a change of environment inevitably means a new helmet livery.
The Spaniard remains faithful to his overall two-tone blue, red and yellow basic motif, although the latter has been replaced by a day-glo shade of lime that it also highlighted on Aston striking new AMR23.
Alonso is on the eve of his 20th season in F1, but while he's keeping it real for this season, the 32-time Grand Prix winner remains convinced that Aston can carry him back to the top step of the podium in the future.
Wouldn't that be a feat?
