Easy to overlook just how good Hulkenberg was with a seventh place, but the Force India was weak at Silverstone last season and the B-spec car proved much more competitive this time. Hulkenberg is riding the crest of a wave after his Le Mans win, making a brilliant start to move up to fifth and maximising the car in tricky conditions to score more points.
