Daniel Ricciardo - (8th place, 4 points): 8.5/10
With a number of grid penalties handed out, Ricciardo started from 19th on the grid and admitted he would count finishing anywhere in the top ten as “a great weekend” on a track Red Bull was likely to struggle on. Aggressive in the race, Ricciardo hauled himself in to points contention and produced an excellent final stint on soft tyres to close on the battle for seventh place, lining up Ericsson at Parabolica on the final lap and getting the undercut on the exit to out-drag the Sauber to the line to snatch eighth.
