Max Verstappen (retired): 8/10
Sixth on the grid was an obvious disappointment considering his team mate was on P4. He quickly made up the difference with an aggressive start to the race and soon got the better of Ricciardo. In fourth, he managed to catch Hamilton and tried the same move as Vettel, making his pit stop earlier than scheduled to undercut the Mercedes. Sadly, just after returning to the fray, the Red Bull’s day concluded in the gravel following rear brake failure.
