Fernando Alonso (retired): 9/10
He complains constantly on the radio - but what would you do in his place? Again betrayed by his V6 in Q2 – if he blows up a Honda at Indy, we know who will be fed a crankshaft! - he once more battled like a lion in the race, but yet again it was for naught because his woefully down on power McLaren retired. While he says he’s not having fun, he certainly entertained us with skirmishes against Palmer, Kvyat and the Saubers. What a pity that such a brilliant driver is languishing with such a poor team.
