Marcus Ericsson (fifteenth) : 6/10
Ericsson couldn’t hardly do any better than his team mate. Beaten by nearly 2/10ths in Q1, he didn’t enjoy a good start but did finish ahead of Wehrlein as he benefitted from the de facto one-stop strategy. He was unable to get the better of the lone surviving McLaren, which speaks volumes to the lack of competitiveness of the C36. The tenacious Swede completed his race with no chance of aiming for anything else than the chequered flag.
