The Frenchman tripled his championship tally. It was a very good weekend for Esteban who for the first time in his young career made it into Q3. And while he didn’t get a flyer at the start, he didn’t lose a position on the opening lap either. Then, he settled in, following his team leader while also watching Hülkenberg on new tyres get larger in his mirrors late in the race.
