Like Vandoorne, Kevin received a five-second penalty for not respecting the track limits at turn two. While it was not a major problem for the Belgian, it was for the Dane. He was running 10th before his stop and he re-joined the race in 13th (his starting position) behind Stroll and the Toro Rossos. From there he had little chance to recover. Haas was really off the pace in Sochi.
