Daniil Kvyat (twelfth) : 6/10
At his home GP, the ‘torpedo’ (a reference to his helmet design this weekend and his 2016 incident with Vettel) was more of a dud. In a car ill-suited for this track, the Russian was beaten by Sainz both in qualifying and the race, where he paid a heavy price for a mediocre start behind Magnussen. Then he made a stop for tyres that was perhaps too early to undercut Magnussen, which put him too far back to catch Stroll.
