Fernando Alonso (retired) : 8/10
With a new front wing, the McLaren slotted on to the fourth row of the grid. Alonso was in the mix with the likes of Sainz, Massa and Pérez for a points finish. His contract extension with the Woking outfit was the new news of the weekend, while another power-unit failure was more of the same old same old for Fernando. Three GPs and soon it will be Sayonara Honda and bonjour Renault!
