There's value in being a retired Formula 1world champion as 2016 title holder Nico Rosberg would readily admit.
The former Mercedes driver donated a pair Mercedes overalls to the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation
The foundation's primary objective since its inception in 2012 is to raise public awareness about the dangers of water, teaching children preventive measures, and teach them to swim.
The historical piece of memorabilia, which Rosberg donated to the foundation to support a campaign helping children in Burkina Faso, one of the poorest countries in the world.
The artifact fetched a cool 45,000€! A result which surprised the German driver, who tweeted the spectacular result.
