The Audi Formula 1 Team has signed fintech giant Revolut as its title sponsor for when the German marque makes its championship debut in 2026.
Revolut, a British-based digital banking and financial technology company valued at $45 billion as of last year, has entered into what is being described as a “landmark” long-term partnership with Audi’s soon-to-be F1 works outfit.
The deal marks Revolut’s first foray into Formula 1 sponsorship since the company’s founding in 2015.
The agreement comes as Audi prepares to make its long-anticipated entry into Formula 1 following its acquisition of the Hinwil-based Sauber team. The full transition is set to complete ahead of the 2026 season, which will also usher in new technical regulations emphasizing hybrid-electric powertrains.
A Strategic Alliance, Not Just Branding
More than just a title sponsor, Revolut’s role will extend beyond branding on the car and team apparel. The fintech company is set to play a significant part in shaping the Audi F1 Team’s financial architecture and fan engagement strategy.

Team Principal Jonathan Wheatley expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership
“With Revolut, we have found a partner that shares our core ethos of innovation and relentless ambition,” he said.
“This is more than a brand fit; it is a strategic alliance, engineered to challenge conventions in motorsport.
From 2026, Revolut’s digital-first solutions will power key areas of our operations while also redefining how fans and communities engage with our team – delivering a seamless and engaging experience on and off the track.”
A Monumental Partnership for Revolut
Revolut’s involvement signals a shift away from the team’s current commercial arrangement, replacing existing sponsorships with Stake, a sports betting company, and its affiliated streaming platform Kick.
Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky also underlined the significance of the collaboration:
“This is a monumental partnership for Revolut and the future Audi F1 Team,” he said.
“We’re accelerating towards 100 million customers, and we’ll be bringing them into Formula 1 with unforgettable experiences at a pivotal time for the sport.
“As Revolut continues to challenge the status quo in global finance, the future Audi F1 Team is set to do the same in motorpsort.
“With a shared outlook, global ambition and relentless drive for progress, this partnership will define what’s possible in Formula 1.”
Audi’s Formula 1 project will span multiple locations, with power unit development already underway at its Neuburg facility in Germany. The broader team infrastructure will continue to operate out of Hinwil, Switzerland, but also at its news Oxfordshire facility in the UK, reflecting the brand’s international ambitions.
As the 2026 season approaches and Formula 1 prepares to enter a new era of sustainable technology and innovation, the Audi-Revolut partnership appears set to be one of the sport’s most intriguing and ambitious collaborations.
