Fernando was an innocent victim of the lap one disarray. His McLaren suffered too much damage, going no further than eight laps. What a shame for the Spaniard who qualified strong, got a mega start and if you believe him, would’ve been in with a shot for a podium finish had he not been collected in the opening lap mayhem.
