Now the only regular driver yet to break his 2017 duck, Ericsson, yet again, just didn’t have the equipment to do battle, even in a race of attrition. At least he was ahead of Wehrlein when he made an unforced error, spinning on a dry track surface as he tried to make up for lost time in the pits.
