Pierre Gasly (P12) : 7/10
This was perhaps Gasly’s breakout Grand Prix. But it was looking a lot different going into qualifying. With a 25-place grid penalty looming for another swap out of French power, Pierre was just 0.061s from moving onto Q2. When the lights went out, he showed his race craft and was briefly running P10. He finished behind the Renaults and gained valuable race experience.
