Has Ferrari lost a shot at the 2018 titles through an error of its team leader? Throwing caution to the wind is done on the final lap, not the first. Vettel was clearly seemed annoyed after Kimi pipped him in Q3. Then to blame Hamilton for what was a brilliant overtake was not the stuff of a champion, but his run through the field in a damaged car was. But now, with a 30-point deficit there is precious little room for error.
