Fernando Alonso (retired) : 7/10
Alonso found himself in a bit of bother when his Q2 flyer was ruined in a ‘racing incident’ with Magnussen. He drafted the Dane on the pit straight and it was either pass on the outside or lock up the brakes at the chicane. On Sunday it wasn’t likely Alonso was going to finish in the top ten on a track ill-suited to his woeful car. An electrical short made sure of that, but as usual he was punching way above his weight in P10 when his final Italian GP came to an end.
