On Friday, Marcus made headlines for all the wrong reasons when a DRS failure sent the Sauber tumbling head over heels at the first chicane. On Saturday the only driver he could beat in Q1 was Vandoorne…enough said. On Sunday he ruined Hartley’s race right at the start. Following the safety car period he had a few nice scraps but a second pit stop relegated him to the rear of the field.
