Nico Rosberg - 4th place, 12 points - 5/10

A disappointing Sunday after such an impressive qualifying performance. Rosberg’s pole lap was excellent given the circumstances - with more fuel and only one run in Q3 after an electronics problem - but his poor start undid all that good work. Fourth at Turn 1 was where he would still be 67 laps later, unable to get past the Red Bulls cleanly and receiving a five-second time penalty for forcing Verstappen off at Turn 6. Felt the penalty was harsh, but he came from so far back that stopping the car in time was always going to be tough. Being stuck behind the Red Bulls was always going to be tricky, but his lack of pace was evident in the final stint when he couldn’t close on Verstappen ahead (the gap was 4.9s after the last stops and 3.9s before what was a slow final lap for the 18-year-old).
