Tech F1i: Baku's low downforce mods and tweaks

RELOCATION

In free practice, the teams tend to use infrared cameras to estimate the thermal degradation of the tyres. These cameras are very often housed inside the mirrors, as was the case on the SF70H last season. On the SF71H, this is no longer possible: the hollow fairing of the mirrors prevents them from being installed.

As a result, the Scuderia had to place these cameras elsewhere, above and around the roll-hoop air intake (a vertical support – yellow arrow – is used on Fridays since the Chinese Grand Prix).
