Lando Norris is set to shave off his locks this week after a COVID-19 fund raiser hosted on Twitch reached its target of $10,000 set by the McLaren driver.
Norris was among the celebrities who took part this weekend in the Twitch Stream Aid event which aimed to raise money for the World Health Organization's COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, an effort that topped out at an impressive $2.2 million.
But Norris personally pledged to go bald if fans watching his sim racing stream donated more than $10,000.
By the end of the day, the milestone was exceeded, with donations totaling $12,000!
"No! We made 10k! RIP hair!" enthused Norris when the target was reached.
"Thanks to all my viewers for raising over $12,000 by the end total for Twitch Stream Aid and the fight against COVID-19," Norris later wrote on Instagram.
"I do have to cut all my hair off now though…"
T-minus 3 days until Lando’s hair gets the chop. Take a break and check out his #TwitchStreamAid highlights over on YouTube now ✂️

The 20-year-old revealed that the trimmers were on their way, having been ordered on Amazon, with a full shave expected later this week.
An avid sim racer, Norris dominated on Sunday the maiden round of the new Veloce Pro Series which took place at Silverstone, the McLaren charger beating a field of fellow pro and sim racers.
