8 — Toro Rosso: A Mercedes-inspired design on the rear suspension
Technical director James Key and his team have modified the shape of the lower wishbone. While it used to be two distinct elements, these have been merged to form a Y-shaped conjoined wishbone (instead of the previous and more traditional V form).
While the championship-leading Mercedes W06 features a similar concept on its front wishbones (see the pictures below), Toro Rosso is the first team to introduce this aero-friendly design at the back
