Just when you thought his luck was changing, he came up snake eyes twice! On a track suited to the chassis, the MCL 32 showed real potential. Stoffel had just made it into Q3 for the first time when he hit the wall exiting the Piscine complex. He could’ve started P7, but lined up 12th after the Barcelona sanction. He was tenth in the race when he was surprised by Pérez and went off at the same spot as Ericcson.
