Daniil Kvyat - 5th place, 10 points: 7/10
A solid if unspectacular weekend for Kvyat at his home race, which was not helped by Red Bull’s strategy. A disappointing qualifying saw him drop out in Q2 while Daniel Ricciardo progressed, but Kvyat got ahead of his team-mate at the start and was running strongly in the top ten when Red Bull pit Ricciardo under the second safety car and not Kvyat. The Russian was unhappy as it left him out of position late in the race and only late retirements for Bottas, Ricciardo and Carlos Sainz - as well as Raikkonen’s penalty - promoted him in to the top five.
