Fernando Alonso - 11th place: 6.5/10
Nothing wrong with Alonso’s qualifying performance as he knew he already had a 35-place grid penalty hanging over him, but he failed to convert it into points. Like Button, he stayed out of trouble but could never quite challenge his team-mate and was repeatedly warned for cutting Turn 16 before he was finally penalised after the race to drop him out of the top ten.
