Reliability has been one of the few positives Williams can claim in 2018, but it was not to be this weekend when the team needed it most. Unlike his team mate, the Canadian wasn’t able to exploit the new front-wing aero package in qualifying, but he got a decent jump off the line. He was ahead of Hartley when he stopped for intermediates. But he was soon back in the pits due to a brake failure.
