Daniel Ricciardo - 6th place, 8 points - 8/10
An aggressive drive from Ricciardo who came close to pipping team-mate Daniil Kvyat in the drivers’ championship as a result. The car was quick on a long run on Friday and good enough for the third row on a circuit featuring two long straights, but Ricciardo lost out to Nico Hulkenberg at the start. Provided a race highlight with his strong move to regain the position from Hulkenberg though the two DRS zones, but couldn’t quite get the tyres to give him the performance he needed in the closing laps as he tried to get within DRS range of Perez. Ultimately, the extra two points would still have seen Ricciardo fall short of his team-mate’s total for the season.
