Sergio Perez (P2, 18 pts): 8.5/10
Finishing in second place as part of a Red Bull 1-2 in Italy is exactly what Sergio Perez is paid to deliver, and he did the job perfectly on Sunday with a really strong, composed campaign in which he pulled off impressive passes on George Russell, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz. On race performance alone he would have been a 9.5. But before that, there was the careless crash at the Parabolica on Friday which forced an overnight rebuild of the RB19, then came the oil leak on Saturday morning that left him lacking data on the soft compound. It all contributed to why he wasn't starting on the front row and had to make all those passes in the first place.
Max Verstappen (P1, 25 pts): 9.5/10
It would be suitably poetic to score Max Verstappen ten out of ten for his tenth consecutive Grand Prix win, but we can't quite give him the perfect mark this week. For much of the weekend he was on the back foot and struggling to match Carlos Sainz, which is a very rare situation for Emperor Maximus to be in this season. Of course it all came good in the end, and he had a comfortable albeit not huge margin over the field by the end of the race despite a late-race gremlin, but it just leaves him every so slightly short of the perfect ten in the ratings. We doubt he'll mind all that much.
