F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2024 United States Grand Prix

Yuki Tsunoda, RB (SP11, P14): 5.5/10
Yuki Tsunoda's personal objective this weekend was not to get outshone by his new/returning team mate Liam Lawson. He managed that in the sprint although it wasn't enough to reap any points, but the wheels metaphorically came off on Sunday where he struggled to stick to track limits culminating in a spin that dropped him out out of the top ten before the finish. Overall Tsunoda didn't look too happy with the revised arrangements at RB and the new competition.

Fernando Alonso, Aston Martin (SP18, P13): 5/10
Fernando Alonso seemed put out by the declining fortunes of the Aston Martin squad as we near the end of the season. The AMR24 simply wasn't up to scratch this weekend and there was little Alonso could do to improve matters in either qualifying or race trim. He took out his frustration on Liam Lawson on Saturday and then glumly slogged his way through Sunday's race to little effect.
