Nico Hulkenberg, Haas (P8, 4 pts): 7.5/10
Nico Hulkenberg made a good start to the race, picking off Oscar Piastri on lap 2 to move into eighth place having qualified ninth. He was inevitably soon passed in turn by a flying Lewis Hamilton, and he tumbled to 15th with his first pit stop on lap 14. He kept it together and had a consistent middle stage of the race to rebuild his campaign. After his second stop he found himself back in P9, and a pass on Yuki Tsunoda with six laps to go saw him pick up four points for all his efforts.
Oscar Piastri, McLaren (P7, 6 pts): 7/10
Oscar Piastri has looked a little demotivated after being obliged to work in a support capacity for Lando Norris's title campaign. It'll be interesting to see whether he comes alive in Qatar and Abu Dhabi now that the drivers championship is decided. This week he was one of many drivers to struggle with tyre wear. He also compromised his race by not lining up properly on the grid, earning him a penalty. "I don’t think we hoped for a whole lot more than where we finished, but obviously the gap was a bit disappointing."
