Five months after the joy and pride of Monte-Carlo, tragedy hit Marussia in Japan. During the race, Bianchi lost control on the wet track and veered towards a run-off area, only to collide with the rear of a tractor crane tending to the removal of Adrian Sutil's beached Sauber. It was a freak accident due to extraordinary circumstances and incredible bad luck. But Bianchi's head injuries were massive.
