Connected to the new bargeboard, the sidepod vane has been redesigned on the Haas. The top three elements were merged into one piece (indicated in yellow above). This new element is attached to the monocoque and serves as a mirror support.

Behind the bargeboard and below the sidepod’s air intake, the aerodynamicists led by Ben Agathangelou have doubled the number of winglets to the leading edge of the floor (they are now six instead of three). These winglets likely act as vortex generators to seal the underside of the floor from tyre turbulence.
