ENERGIZING AIRFLOW
A downturned vane was attached to the sides of the monocoque of the Force India in order to energize the airflow along the sidepods.
The list of novelties presented in this technical gallery is intended to be as complete as possible without being exhaustive. For example, McLaren also tested more conventional turning vanes, as well as new vanes on the trailing edge of the engine cover, while Mercedes made two openings in the monocoque in order to cool the cockpit.
