Formula 1's release of footage earlier this week of the Monaco Grand Prix driver's briefing was unfortunately a one-off treat for fans.
The widely popular video disseminated last week was a huge success with F1 fans who were given a glimpse into the typically confidential moment when race director Charlie Whiting meets with drivers in the middle of a race weekend.
As popular as the broadcast was, it won't become a regular occurrence. It is possible that F1's bosses fear that the presence of cameras and drivers speaking publicly on the record could deter some from expressing a controversial view on safety or sporting issues.
However, F1 could at some point reconsider its stance on the matter.
Felipe Massa is among those however who would be in favour of broadcasting the meeting on a regular basis.
"I think it is a good idea," Massa told Motorsport.com.
"To be honest I didn't even notice that somebody was filming it in Monaco.
"I think it is good – good for the people, good for the fans, I think it is good that you participate more in what we are doing and where we are talking.
"If everybody knows that we are talking with Charlie Whiting and the teams and everything, then everybody understands a little bit more about F1."
