Pierre suffered the same brake problem at the same time as Toro Rosso's other sister car. It was a short but busy GP for the Frenchman. He was slow off the line and was then struck by debris originating from Ricciardo's front wing. Then the travel of his brake pedal was far too long and barely responsive. His retirement was chalked up to overheating brake fluid. All eyes - especially those at RBR - will be focused on the progress of the new V6 at Honda’s home GP next week.
