Pleased with his qualifying effort even though he could have given Magnussen a run for his money, the still unemployed driver for 2019 was far less satisfied with how his race played out. He didn’t understand why he was asked to let Perez by to attack the Dane, believing he was faster than Sergio. In the end, he was given back the spot, but he leaves Russia with the feeling that his team could’ve done better if they could’ve just forced the Haas roadblock.
