Advancing to Q3 for the first time since China 2015, Ericsson confirmed the C37’s recent strong form. After a good start he fell out of the points scoring zone when the Red Bulls charged through the field. He was then behind Grosjean after his first stop but didn’t have enough to make a move. With little to lose, Marcus made a second stop, but was too far behind to make his way back into the top ten.
