F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2025 Bahrain GP

Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls (P16): 3/10

Racing Bulls’ relative pace in Bahrain was difficult to assess, although it was certainly a step down compared to Japan. Lawson was enduring a quiet, lacklustre race until it all kicked off for him in the second half, but not in a good way. The New Zealander made a couple of clumsy moves on fellow drivers, colliding with Stroll and Hulkenberg on separate occasions resulting in five and ten-second penalties respectively. Lawson’s pace at the end of the race was strong, but after all of the time penalties he found himself only a single place above where he started.

Fernando Alonso, Aston Martin (P15): 5/10

Alonso stated that he managed the absolute best he could by getting his Aston Martin car through and into Q2. The lack of speed from the AMR25 showed during the Grand Prix itself, as the Spaniard displayed lacklustre pace throughout in a quiet race, crossing the line in 15th.
