F1i's Driver Ratings for the 2025 Bahrain GP

Jack Doohan, Alpine (P14): 7/10

Since his awful weekend at home in Australia, Doohan has shown slow but steady improvement from one race weekend to the next. His performance in Bahrain was perhaps his best yet, and it started with a solid P11 in Qualifying. The Aussie then had good pace behind the Red Bull of Tsunoda, and was up into the points after pitting for a fresh set of medium tyres. However, his pace fell off as his tyres began to show their relative age, and Doohan fell out of points contention right at the end as a result. A five-second penalty for multiple track limits violations only added to the disappointment for the Alpine driver. But overall an even better weekend for Doohan.

Isack Hadjar, Racing Bulls (P13): 4/10

Hadjar admitted fault for his Q2 exit during Saturday’s Qualifying, as he didn’t push as hard as he should have on his flying lap. Come race day, the Frenchman suffered a horrendous start and lost several positions on the opening lap. He couldn’t make the soft tyre last either, pitting after only nine laps on the red-walled compound. In general, Hadjar was lacking pace out there and never looked in contention for a top ten finish, although the Racing Bulls car looked a bit out of sorts in Bahrain compared to previous circuits.
