Oliver Bearman, Haas (P10): 8/10
What a rollercoaster of a weekend for Bearman. Qualifying was a disaster for the Briton, 20th and last on the starting grid. It could only get better from there, and it most certainly did. The teenager managed to gain five positions on the opening lap, and followed this up with good pace on both of his stints. He made an impressive move around the outside of Hadjar at Turn 4 on lap 22, and was somehow fighting for points towards the end of the race. Bearman held off a charging Antonelli to claim tenth and a point for himself and Haas, up a remarkable ten places from his starting position.

Yuki Tsunoda, Red Bull (P9): 6/10
Two races in with no testing, Tsunoda is already doing a lot better than Lawson ever managed at Red Bull. The Japanese driver got into Q3, which was especially commendable given the fact that Verstappen could only manage a few places higher in Qualifying. The Grand Prix itself was a mixed bag for Tsunoda; his pace was decent and an opportunist move on Sainz on lap nine was the highlight of his race. But another move on Sainz while defending against the Spaniard resulted in contact, and further contact a few laps later was perhaps a little too aggressive from the Red Bull driver. But points in the second Red Bull? Finally!
