Nico Hulkenberg, Kick Sauber (P16): 5/10
Points were never on the table for Hulkenberg, although the German was one of only a few drivers to make an overtake out on track, getting ahead of Tsunoda into Sainte Devote on the first lap to climb up to 12th. He then displayed solid pace by sticking to the gearbox of Sainz for a number of laps before pitting for hards at the end of lap 12. A mixture of lacklustre strategy and a drop in pace resulted in the Kick Sauber driver dropping down the field, eventually finishing in 16th position.

Lance Stroll, Aston Martin (P15): 4/10
Once again, Stroll managed to completely avoid all attention and stay out of trouble for the entire weekend. Sometimes this has served him well, such as at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, but this time he was just pootling around the streets of Monaco as if it were a drive to the shops, never threatening those ahead of him. At least he didn’t impede any Ferraris or crash of his own accord in the race.
