Liam Lawson, Racing Bulls (P8): 8/10
Finally an event where we can say Lawson had a good race. First points on the board for the Kiwi this season. It seemed as though Lawson had sacrificed his own race by holding up half of the field to create a gap for Hadjar to feed into after pitting and playing the team game. But when Williams adopted the same strategy with their two drivers, it allowed the New Zealander to pit twice and stay ahead of both Albon and Sainz, claiming four valuable points for himself and his team.

Esteban Ocon, Haas (P7): 9/10
Ocon has made somewhat of a habit of quietly banging in solid lap times and making no mistakes to wrestle an underpowered Haas car into the points. There’s no denying he’s quick either, as he qualified his VF-25 in P8 on a track where driving ability trumps vehicular performance. After his two pitstops were completed by lap 29, the Frenchman stayed out of trouble and navigated slower traffic to claim his third points finish of his 2025 campaign.
