A FAMILIAR LOOK

At the back of the car, the shark fin engine cover rises as it extends towards the rear wing, which features open-end slits like on the Sauber.

The aero element, which already featured on the 2008-spec Renault R28, helps guide the air flowing around the airbox and towards the lowered wing, which sits more exposed to turbulences this year.

F1 teams will race rear wings with flaps and main boards that are less tilted in 2017, relying primarily on the diffuser to generate downforce without producing too much drag.
